Short and plain: what we collect, and what we do with it.
Who we are
This website is run by David West, County Durham, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@doggroomerbooking.co.uk.
What we collect
Only what you type into the early-access form: your name, your business name, your email, how you groom and how many groomers you have, and – if you choose to give them – your phone number, town, what you use now and your message.
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't use analytics that follow you around the web. Like every website, our hosting keeps short-term server logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and working.
What we do with it
- Reply to you about early access to Dog Groomer Booking.
- Tell you when your place is ready.
We use your details because you asked us to get in touch. We never sell them or pass them to anyone else for marketing.
Where it's kept and for how long
Your details are emailed to us and kept in a file on our UK web hosting, outside the public website. If you don't become a customer, we delete them within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or ask us to stop contacting you – just email hello@doggroomerbooking.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If your business has an account
To run your account we keep your name, your business name and contact details, the logins you and your staff use (passwords are stored scrambled, never as typed), a record of logins and changes for security, and the emails you send us for help.
Subscription payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We see which plan you're on and whether a payment went through; we never see or keep your full card number.
We use these details to provide the service you've signed up for, to keep it secure, and to tell you about your account – for example a payment, a change to our terms or prices, or a problem. We keep them while your account is open, and invoice and payment records for six years afterwards, as tax law requires.
Your customers' details
When a groomer uses Dog Groomer Booking, their customer records belong to them. We look after them on the groomer's behalf and only use them to run the service – see our data processing agreement. If you're a groomer's customer and have a question about your details, please ask your groomer first; we'll help them answer it.
